We’re getting married!

Let’s rewind to the first day of class at Palomar College. Theresa arrived at ASL 4 tired and empty-handed after a hectic morning, only to find the last open seat next to Joshua—a quiet guy with a kind smile. When she asked to borrow a pencil and paper, he kindly obliged, sparking a connection neither of them expected. They soon discovered a shared love of football, especially the Green Bay Packers, and their first dates revolved around watching games together. A casual moment during one game, when Theresa rested her legs across Joshua’s lap, hinted at the chemistry growing between them. That night, their hands found each other, and Joshua sweetly asked if he could kiss her—she said yes. From borrowed pencils to late-night walks on the Oceanside Pier, their bond deepened. A favorite memory was carving their initials into the pier, a small gesture that felt timeless. Four years later, Joshua proposed at that same spot, and once again, Theresa said yes. This October 13th, they’ll celebrate eight wonderful years together—and the very next day, surrounded by loved ones, they’ll finally say “I do.”
