KOA is the airport code for The Big Island.
Kailua-Kona is the touristy beach town where our events will happen, it is appx. 20 minutes south of the airport

1) Each adult must create a Traveler Account at the Govt site "travel.hawaii.gov" (load hotel/flight/covid test results here)
2) Negative covid test, only from a pre-approved list of partners; no more than 72 hours before your flight.
NOTE: you must upload your test results prior to your flight, proof will be required BEFORE you board the plane
* advisable to print out your test results in case of any phone issues.
3) Present your QR code upon arrival in Hawaii (before exiting airport)
NOTE: Hawaii does observe different travel requirements other than CDC (ie, mandatory negative covid test result)

We have rented a house 7/16-7/20, next to Old Kona Airport Recreation Area, which is near the beginning of "town", near Alii and Palani. The reception (Papa Kona Events & Restaurant) is closest to Royal Kona condos and Kona Reef condos are are appx. a quarter mile or so south...a couple people are renting at Kona Reef. I believe there is a shuttle stop in front of Kona Reef that runs up and down Alii Drive - taking you to the snorkel spot at Kahalu'u State Beach, as well as to "town" for restaurants/farmers market/Papa Kona (I will research more and update at a later date)
