Our Story

We met at college at the University of Arizona in 2014. We started out playing soccer together and living in the same dorm, so we became friends! 2 long years later in 2016, we made it official and started dating! 2016 also marks the date David started growing his beard, strange coincidence! We were long distance for a brief stint when Theresa lived in Philadelphia in 2018 for an internship, but were back together in AZ just in time for COVID. After binging a bunch of documentaries like everybody, we traveled coast to coast. On Father's Day 2024, David told Theresa his parents were coming to visit. Little did she know, we were going to our favorite restaurant where he popped the big question. She figured it out pretty quickly once David told her his parents might be on top of the nearby hills overlooking the city. A week later, we got the last 2025 date at our dream venue, and we cannot wait to celebrate with everybody!
