Growing up very close to the shore, Theresa and I ironically both went to the beach in Avon-By-The-Sea. Whether it was a small age difference or just a difference in our circles of friends, I know for a fact that we never met in this small one mile square town. I know this because I will never forget the moment I first laid eyes on Theresa. It was an early Monday night in the beginning of summer and Kevin Roddy and I had just arrived at the Norwood Inn. Theresa and I were both of age and looking back now, I am so thankful that we were and were able to enjoy a few years of the Monday night "nip-night." Kevin and I were standing together at the front of the bar and directly across the bar was a familiar face in Samantha Barrett. I knew Sam, but for the first time in my life I saw the most beautiful girl with a gorgeous smile and long curly hair. We locked eyes, smiled and I immediately turned to Kevin and asked "Who is that?!" For the rest of that night, she was the only thing on my mind. And for the rest of my life, I'll never forget that night.
