Our love story began back in 2011, when we met as freshman at San Diego State University. We instantly bonded over our love for adventure, laughter, faith and sushi. On January 6th, 2013, Austin (finally) asked Hayley to be his girlfriend. We enjoyed our fruitful social lives as well as marketing classes we took together. After graduating from SDSU in 2015, Hayley moved to Scottsdale, AZ, which Austin shortly moved there after. We enjoyed 3 wonderful years there starting our careers and making lifelong friends. Before moving back to San Diego in 2018, Hayley and Austin took a month-long trip to Europe together. We created many unforgettable memories and ate way too much pasta and wine at the 7 countries we traveled to. We are now living in San Diego and enjoying being back by the beach. We cannot wait for this next step in our relationship and to continue to write our love story.

Jamaica will always hold a special place in our hearts. On July 14th, 2019, Austin popped the question while we were on vacation in Negril, Jamaica. Hayley won the vacation on The Ellen Show, at the 12 Days of Giveaways in December 2018. It was the most magical proposal. Our third night at the resort, Austin brought us downstairs to take photos on the beach. He had a professional photographer waiting for us at the lobby. We took photos with the gorgeous sunset. For the last photo, he brought us to a gazebo decorated in candles and flower pedals, where he dropped on one knee and popped the question. We both cried and we hugged and even forgot to put the ring on until a few minutes later. We then ended our night with a romantic candlelight dinner on 7 Mile Beach.
