We’re getting married!!

We met through a mutual friend when my dear friend Ashley was at a bachelorette party in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and Matt was at a wedding nearby. The two groups crossed paths at a bar, where Ashley learned Matt had just moved to Austin. She mentioned me and told him we’d hit it off. Back in Omaha she gave me his number before I moved to Austin. A few texts later, we were planning our first date! On August 24th, 2021, we met at Caroline’s Upstairs in Austin,TX. I was 20 minutes late, but Matt was waiting patiently with a margarita in hand! We spent the next year and a half as friends while Matt moved back to California. With a lot of persistence and patience from Matt, we started dating in December of 2022. Matt officially moved back to Austin and we’ve never looked back! Our engagement was a dream come true. On August 31st, 2024, in Naxos, Greece, during a sunrise hike to the Temple of Apollo, Matt proposed. On the same day as my parents’ anniversary, with a ring including a diamond from my great-grandmother. We’re overjoyed to celebrate our love with you all.
