Well.. as you all probably know we swiped right on one another. We spent a good 3 1/2 weeks just texting and talking on the phone before we finally met in person. We then spent everyday together until Michael left for 3 months on a work trip. During this time we text every single day and 6 days after he got home from that trip we made it “official”.

So Michael missed Christmas 2022 because of work, so when he got home from his trip we celebrated Christmas with his parents, siblings, as well as their spouses, and children. We had gotten through all of the gifts and then Teresa (Michael’s mom) said there was one more gift for me, as I began to open it I saw the ring box and Michael was down on one knee. Michael gave me the ring that his Dad (Lee) gave his Mom 40 years ago this past Christmas, so it’s a pretty special ring and at a pretty special time for us all.
