We highly recommend you stay at the Courtyard by Marriott, St.Jacobs as you will receive a discount. If you choose to stay at any of the surrounding hotels (Homewood Suites by Hilton, St.Jacobs; Hampton by Hilton St.Jacobs; Staybridge Suites, St.Jacobs or the Holiday Express Inn, St.Jacobs) you can use the shuttle service to the Courtyard by Marriott and walk from there to your hotel (2 minute distance). We will provide shuttles with limited space to and from the Courtyard by Marriott. If you choose to stay in this area and require transportation, please let us know during your RSVP.
The ceremony will be held outdoors on the picturesque grounds of Wren House. Dinner will take place outside as well, beneath the charming pergola surrounded by lush greenery. Afterward, the celebration will continue indoors for the reception.
We kindly ask guests to dress in cocktail or formal attire to match the atmosphere of the day. What to Wear Women: Cocktail or full-length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or elegant separates Men: Suits or dress shirts with dress pants — no tie required. Think timeless, polished, and comfortable for a warm summer evening. Light, breathable fabrics and soft, romantic colors are encouraged. For shoes, we suggest loafers, dress sandals, and heels that work well on grass or cobblestone - Our venue has a lot of grassy area, so ladies, please keep this in mind when selecting your shoes! Please avoid jeans and casual wear. We’d love for everyone to embrace the elegance of the setting while feeling comfortable and confident!
You bet! We’ll be celebrating with a full open bar throughout the evening and wine service during dinner. Please note that shots will not be served, but there will be a wide selection of wine, beer, and cocktails to enjoy.
Due to capacity restrictions we’ve carefully planned our guest list, so invitations are extended to those named only. If your invite includes a plus one, we can’t wait to see your guest. If it doesn’t, we hope you’ll still have an amazing time celebrating alongside all of us. Thanks so much for understanding!
While we absolutely LOVE your kiddos and know how wonderful they are, our wedding will be an adults-only event (with the exception of our flower girl and ring bearers). We hope this allows you to take a well-deserved break, relax, and fully enjoy the celebration without any distractions.
The ceremony begins promptly at 4:30 p.m. Please arrive no earlier than 3:30 pm and no later than 4:15 pm. to ensure you don't miss a thing!
Since our venue is in St.Jacobs there are Ubers and taxis in the Kitchener area, which may require a slight wait time. We suggest pre-booking taxis if you want to ensure a timely pick up.
There is onsite parking available. You can park overnight but you must remove your vehicle by 10am the next morning.
