Our Story

It all began mid pandemic, when Emily agreed to come over for dinner. This photo was taken the next day when, despite his terrible mashed potatoes, Emily agreed to a second date with Christian.

Day after day Christian and Emily found happiness in each other's company. Emily even came to meet the family!

Little did she know that she would be meeting all of the family. The first time at the farm was Christian's brother's wedding. Chaotic and busy, but Emily jumped right in and was an immediate hit!

The rest was history. Year over year they tried new things and embraced all the seasons!

Emily and Christian travel to Grand Junction every fall to enjoy the amazing wine selection and stunning views.

They've been back to the Reed farm for many Christmas's, even if they had to drive through blizzards to get there!

When they aren't traveling, they are spending time with their furry family. Lyla, aka Garfield, aka Menace to Society, aka the Crackon, keeps them on their toes as she demands love and food day by day

As you can imagine, she runs the house.

Usually from very high places.

But she's cute so she gets away with it.

And then we have Folsom! She is a ball of love and unlike the cat....

Demands only love and snuggles.

Constantly.....

And with Emily here, Folsom is even more insistent.

It has been an amazing journey. Together, Christian and Emily have seen so many new things.

They've traveled to incredible places.

And inspired one another to new heights.

As they prepare for the big day...
