Question

Where's the venue?

Answer

All wedding day festivities will be held on the 5th-floor event space and rooftop of D.C.'s MLK Library (901 G St NW). We'll have signage and people pointing you in the right direction upon your arrival.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

A little of both! Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be on the rooftop terrace before we transition inside for dinner and dancing.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail! May in D.C. can range from cool to balmy to muggy, so come dressed comfortably for the weather (but much of the venue will be climate-controlled).

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Around 5 PM to snap a few photos and get good seats. The ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM, so kindly arrive before then — or else!!

Is it an open bar?

Answer

Duh!

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

No — we made sure the hotel block was steps from the venue for a reason ;) MLK Library is also easily accessible by public transit and rideshare.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Unless explicitly told otherwise, we ask that you leave the kiddos at home.

Will there be other wedding weekend activities?

Answer

Yes! There will be more (entirely optional) pre- and post-wedding festivities. Head to the "schedule" tab of the site for more deets!
