We fell in love for the first time when we were 16. Tim told me then he was going to marry me. I laughed, because that was hilarious. After a few months, teenage angst drew us apart. Five years later, we reconnected as old friends. Tim was trying to lay low in the dating scene & stay single for a while & I, as his friend, was encouraging him to do so. Naturally, Tim flew out to California a month later for a reunion of epic proportions. We danced in the moonlight & laughed by the seaside, falling in love all over again (cue cheesy Ed Sheeran song). After six months of dating long distance, I decided to move out to Georgia & Tim again insisted he knew he was going to marry me. I told him to play it cool... I mean, really... Well, a little over a year later, he took me to the beach town I grew up going to in the summers. Tim proposed on the beach at sunset while pretending to look for seashells with me even though he did not care one bit about looking for seashells (cue another cheesy Ed Sheeran song...he's got plenty of them, you know). I said yes, obviously, hence the wedding. We can't wait to celebrate with you all!
