Justin and Beca met in 2019 during their sophomore year of college at the University of Scranton, and became inseparable from their very first conversation. When the Covid-19 pandemic brought campus life to a halt in 2020, they turned the slowdown into something more special, settling into Justin’s college apartment and soaking up every quiet moment together. After graduating in 2021, they moved to Pittsburgh, where Beca began law school at Duquesne University and Justin started working as a medical laboratory technician at UPMC. They also became proud pet parents to a sweet kitten named Colby. Even through long nights of Beca's challenging classwork and Justin's evening shifts, they found small pockets of time together, sharing quick dinners in the car and staying up for late night movies once Justin finally made it home. Eventually, Beca finished law school, passed the bar exam, and began her first full-time job. Justin earned a promotion and moved to day shift, and those car-dinner nights quietly faded into a memory, cherished for what they meant during that stage of their relationship. On Christmas Eve in 2024, while visiting family for the holidays, the two took a snowy morning walk to their alma mater and reminisced about the places that shaped the beginning of their relationship. After wandering past Justin’s sophomore dorm and Beca’s senior-year apartment, they stopped beneath the University of Scranton arch at the entrance of campus. The very place where they first met suddenly became the beginning of their forever when Justin knelt down and asked Beca to marry him. We are so very excited to celebrate our wedding surrounded by our favorite people. We can’t wait for a lifetime of golf dates, cozy meals, lake trips, and spirited board game nights, and we are so thankful to kick things off with all of you.
