How we met

Good old tinder!

20th March 2020 the day 2 little swipes changed our lives forever We met on Tinder both on there for two very different reasons I was on there to have a laugh at those we knew little did we know that we were swiping yes to everyone, Dylan looking for something much less serious than it’s turned out to be he believed he had a two year relationship curse. After talking for a short period of time running on adrenaline and questionable decisions I called into work sick breaking the Covid rules to meet the human that was quickly becoming my favourite pass time. We often laugh as I was not truly prepared for the size of human I was going to be greeted by and when I nervously made comment and replied what were you expecting a midget?! Following that day countless kms were spent travelling between Warialda and Gunnedah to spend as much time possible with the ready made family he’d found himself uncomfortably fond of. While not always smooth sailing no matter what we found each other compromising and reaching for the comfort we found in one another. In March 2023 Dylan surrendered to what was the biggest challenge our relationship faced and packed up his life and moved to North Bingara as he calls it that proud Bingara boy now a Warialda wombat, since his relocation we have build a life full of banter, love and happiness. We share a love for all things simple good food, good company and fishing trips that often end with snags and torment but we wouldn’t want it any other way. Together we have been able to provide a safe, stable home that provides our 3 children with an abundance of all the things they need to flourish. The piece of our puzzle we didn’t know we needed. If you’ve read this far we are so thrilled to share the start of the next chapter of our story with you!
