Our Story

We met on May 16, 2020, at Flounders on Pensacola Beach — a simple evening that quietly became the beginning of everything. What started as an introduction turned into hours of conversation. Long after the music faded and the restaurant began closing around us, we were still talking, completely unaware of the time but fully aware that something felt different. That night, a friend jokingly “married” us as we lingered past closing. It was lighthearted in the moment, yet in hindsight, it feels like a sweet glimpse of what was to come. From that evening forward, our connection felt steady and unmistakable. Although we were living in different cities, distance never felt like an obstacle. Brandon made countless trips from Atlanta to Pensacola, and with each visit, what we were building felt increasingly certain. A few months later, we officially began our relationship. The season of long distance that followed taught us patience, communication, and what it truly means to choose one another daily. By the time we attended the same university, our foundation was already strong. Over time, we became more than partners — we became best friends. We celebrate one another’s ambitions, steady each other in uncertainty, and share a quiet confidence about the future we are building together. After graduation, we returned to Pensacola before taking a leap of faith and moving to Nashville, trusting that God was guiding our next chapter. Those years deepened our faith and strengthened our partnership. We are currently in Tampa for this season and look forward to one day returning to Pensacola to establish our home and continue building our life together. “Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act.” — Psalm 37:5 What began as a conversation neither of us wanted to end has become a covenant we cannot wait to make, surrounded by the people who have supported and loved us along the way.
