Will my phone work in Colombia?

Your phone may work with international roaming, but the fees can be high that we recommend getting a local SIM card at the airport or using WiFi but if you feel to it it’s around 35 dollars for 7 days service at&t

What documents do I need to enter Colombia?

Answer

All international travelers must have a valid passport. In addition, you’ll need to complete the Check-MIG immigration form before your flight. It’s quick and easy to fill out online. You’ll find the link and instructions on our Travel page.

Should I exchange money before the trip?

Answer

You can exchange money at the airport or withdraw Colombian pesos from ATMs. Many places also accept cards.

Yes, Formal. Think suits, long or cocktail dresses. It gets chilly in Bogotá/Rosal in October, so bring a jacket!

Yes! We’re happy to welcome children to our wedding celebration. If your little ones were included on the invitation, they’re absolutely invited to join the fun!

Yes! Please arrive 10 minutes before departure Shuttle GHL CAPITAL departs at 2 pm Shuttle GHL OCCIDENTE departs 2:30 pm All shuttles leave the venue at midnight, please get in the same shuttle you came to the venue

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Yes! We’d love to spend more time with you while you’re here: • Saturday Afternoon (Oct 4): Join us for a relaxed gathering where we’ll be serving delicious seafood paella and a lechona (typical Colombian pork dish) It’ll be an informal get-together for anyone who’s around and wants to come by, hang out, and enjoy good food.

How far is the airport from the hotel and wedding venue?

Answer

The hotel is approximately 20 to 40 minutes from the airport (depending on traffic). The wedding venue in Rosal is half hour from GHL occidente and an hour + from Bogota.

Are there recommended airlines or time to arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving in Bogotá no later than Thursday, October 2nd to adjust to the altitude and enjoy the city. Popular airlines include United, American Airlines, Delta and JetBlue.

Are there other hotel or Airbnb options nearby?

Answer

Absolutely! Bogotá has many great options in fact we’re moving to the center of Bogotá on Saturday for the remainder of our time there. There are great Airbnb and other hotel options in the Chapinero, Zona G & Usaquén neighborhoods.
