Great question! We will be having two wedding ceremonies - an American ceremony at the Southwest School of Art on the Riverwalk and a more intimate Hindu ceremony at the Amphitheater of the San Antonio Botanical Gardens. See the Schedule tab for more details.
When your formal invitation is mailed out, your options to RSVP will show you which events to attend.
The most convenient location for the weekend is to stay in the Downtown/Riverwalk area, both for proximity to the ceremonies and for things to do, see, and eat. For suggested hotels and activities, see the Travel and Things to Do sections.
For both the Friday and Sunday ceremonies, the venues have dedicated parking lots. The lot at the Southwest School of Art is immediately outside the venue, though parking is limited. It is recommended to carpool if possible or arrive via rideshare, especially if you plan on drinking. At the Botanical Gardens, park in the main lot, let the Admissions desk know that you are there for the Radia wedding, and then follow signs for the Amphitheater. All wedding guests have free entrance to the grounds of the Botanical Gardens
The dress codes are as follows: - Rehearsal/Rehearsal Dinner: Dressy Casual - American Ceremony: Black-Tie Optional - Brunch/Mehndi Ceremony: Dressy Casual or Casual Indian Attire - Hindu Ceremony: Either cocktail attire or traditional Indian clothing (kurta for men, sari or lehenga for women).
