Jacob and Destini met May of 2021. It was a Friday night, both of them were out with some friends at the largest dance floor in central Texas.. Melody Ranch! Jacob's friend (Kim) was on the hunt and determined to find a girl for him that night. Destini happened to be sitting a few seats down the bar when she comes over and pointed him out to her which she wasn't really interested, UNTIL SHE WAS! After his friend explains that he's a shy, quiet, kind of guy Destini went over to introduce herself and he offered to buy her a drink. They talked for a bit, finished their drinks, and he asked her to dance.. when I tell you this was the bravest man ever! They get on the floor and she comes to find out he has no rhythm and two left feet but only asked because he saw she was dancing most of the night! The things people will do for love!

A year later it was Destini’s 24th birthday and she decided to attend a drag brunch with friends and family at the Red Goose Saloon in Fort Worth. Jacob had it all planned out and proposed to Destini on her birthday in July of 2022! They got lucky that night and 3 months later were surprised with a blessing, their baby boy! They went from a wedding registry to a baby registry within months and postponed the wedding planning. In April of 2023 their baby boy made his arrival and it has been the most beautiful journey to see their family grow! It has been almost 2 years since their engagement and can't wait to officially tie the knot!
