You may know him as Ernest or Junebug or Ernesto, but in 2005, he went by Junior. This boy, Junior, was the new kid at Atlantic High school and (literally) threw tiny paper balls in Jenn's hair during Mr. McManus' English class. He sat two seats behind Jenn and the heavy gel in her hair made this the perfect game. This was, as he puts it, in an attempt to find any reason to talk to her. He would come up to Jenn as they'd walk down to lunch and offer to help get them out of her hair...all while blaming it on someone else. The whole class knew it was him, and if you know Junior, you know that pranks and jokes are his second language. It became a running joke for all of us, and sure enough that was just the beginning of his antics. They became friends from there and the rest is history.

Jenn is the Type-A personality in the relationship, so when Junior wanted to plan a fancy brunch date...three months ahead of time, she got suspicious. Junior worked tediously to throw Jenn off his tracks, which sent her head spinning. Playing it as cool as possible, he got her to this brunch at last. It was at this cute little B&B in the city they went to high school in. He asked her to go take a picture before they ordered and proceeded to get on one knee. Our family and best friends came out from hiding after he popped the question and it was just a magical morning. Cue the waterworks. Special shout-out to our very pregnant matron-of-honor for hiding in the bushes for pictures and to our families for helping to make it happen!
