Northwest Florida is famous for some of the best white-sand beaches in the mainland United States. For those staying in a Seaside rental property, you will have access to the private Seaside beach, where you can lay in the sun, play games, and enjoy the warm waters of the Gulf. If desired, you can reserve beach chair and umbrella set-ups with Cabana Man: https://www.cabanaman.com. If you are staying with Homeowners’ Collection or another vacation rental agency in Seaside, they can direct you to the beach pavilion closest to your vacation rental, so you’ll have the ideal location for your beach set-up.
The airstream restaurants are an iconic feature of Seaside. Located in the heart of town, these airstreams offer several great dining options, including grilled cheeses, hot dogs, barbecue (including the best Bloody Mary on the Florida Panhandle), gyros, acai, snow cones, and other options. Some of our favorites include the shaved ice from Frost Bites, pulled pork barbeque nachos from Barefoot Barbeque, the Smokin' Turkey from The Meltdown on 30A, and the hummus from Gyro Hero.
Modica Market is a staple of a stay in Seaside. Modica is a locally owned grocery store that offers great breakfast options, excellent prepared foods at their deli counter (recommend the buffalo chicken bites and fig and brie sandwiches), and other food items and beverages, including our personal favorite: the 32-ounce mimosa.
No trip to Seaside is complete without a meal at The Great Southern. Also located in the main city center of Seaside, The Great Southern offers an array of comfort food - featuring great seafood and meat dishes - along with the best mojito you'll ever have! We also recommend checking out The Chicken Shack (amazing fried chicken and sides) and B.F.F. (frozen drinks), which are adjacent to The Great Southern.
Bud & Alley's has a collection of restaurants located on the waterfront in Seaside, the most well-known of which is their flagship restaurant. The flagship restaurant has a rooftop bar that offers beautiful views of Seaside. Bud & Alley's is known for their excellent seafood (we highly recommend the crab cakes). Adjacent to the main restaurant, there is a pizza bar and taco bar which offer other cuisines - can't go wrong!
Black Bear has delicious breakfast and lunch options as well as pastries and coffee. It is perfect for both sit-down meals and for take-out. Our favorite order is the Paris ham breakfast croissant.
We love exploring Seaside and the surrounding 30A community on a bike! There are numerous bike trails throughout 30A. Seaside Transit Authority, located in the heart of town, can supply all of your cycling needs. Two bike rentals are included in any Seaside home rental made through Homeowner’s Collection, and extra bikes can easily be added. You can rent with them even if staying elsewhere – call 334-462-1563 or see https://www.seasidetransitauthority.com/.

Seaside has a weekly Farmers Market each Saturday from 9:00am - 1:00pm located in the central square. The Seaside Farmers Market is comprised of local growers and artisans who offer food and other products year-round, including both produce and ready-to-eat items (we recommend the quiche).
