Luis and Sophia met on Hinge and felt an immediate spark, a modern love story. From the start, they discovered a shared love of travel. They went on weekend trips to New York and Florida, and a road trip that took them from Texas through New Mexico and Moab, Utah, up into Colorado and Yellowstone. They adopted a beloved dog Ranger together in 2023. In early 2025 Luis deployed, and while he was away Sophia found out she was pregnant. He returned home and that December, they welcomed their beautiful daughter Isla. In April 2026, they traveled to Santa Fe, New Mexico. At a mountain overlook Luis asked Sophia to marry him, and she said yes. They are so excited to celebrate their love with family and friends.
