We’re so excited to celebrate our big day at Drumore Mill, a charming historic venue nestled in nature. Originally built in the 1800s, this whimsical mill combines rustic character with magical views, from a sparkling waterfall to cozy covered spaces. Our story has been compared to a Hallmark movie, and we feel so lucky that our favorite people helped bring us together. We met in early November 2019 at a game night, thanks to Rachel's best friend Lauren and Alex's brother Kurt, who are both happily married now!!! The very first time Alex saw Rachel, she was stepping out of her car laughing about burning her hand while making a pie. Sparks flew instantly. That night was filled with conversation, laughter, and plenty of games, and the very next day we spent hours playing our favorite childhood video games side by side. We weren’t looking for anything, but the moment we met, it felt like the start of everything. Our first official date was at Outback, followed by a visit to the Philadelphia Art Museum. Just two months later, Rachel had to head to Disney for work, and Alex jumped at the chance to turn it into our first big adventure together. Two weeks in Florida confirmed what we already knew this was the start of something lasting. Since then, our adventures have only grown. We’ve moved to Annapolis with our first cat, Skittles, spent winters snowboarding, hiked 100 miles of Scotland’s West Highland Way, wandered through Japan for two weeks, explored national parks (working on seeing them all), gone scuba diving in Hawaii and the Cayman Islands, driven the entire Blue Ridge Parkway, sailed on cruises, completed a Half Marathon and a Sprint Triathlon, and always chased goals and new challenges together. We’ve cheered each other on while completing additional college degrees, built a home together, and recently welcomed our newest floof, Twig, who has completely stolen our hearts. Now we’re on our latest adventure, the wedding, and we’re so excited to share it with all of you. On 11/7/2026, we’ll be just four days shy of seven years together, and we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter. Whether we’re traveling the world, hiking, camping, indoor skydiving, or simply enjoying the small, everyday adventures, we know life is best when we take every adventure together.
