Engagement shoot

The Wedding Website of Delaney Woodham and Patrick Quarters
In the days leading up to our engagement pictures, we kept a close eye on the forecast; it looked like a line of heavy thunderstorms was scheduled to come through during the evening, and our pictures were scheduled for 6:45 pm. If you know Delaney, you know she worries about the weather. After talking with our photographer, we moved our pictures up to 3 pm in hopes that we could get them in before the storms came! On the drive, we could hear thunder in the distance and big raindrops started hitting the windshield... We met our lovely photographer Taylor at one of our favorite places in Columbia: Main Street! We got about 25 minutes of pictures (with some sunshine peeking out!) before it started raining. Taylor helped us embrace it, and we even got a few AMAZING pictures in the rain. A good bit of our time was spent hiding under an alcove near the Museum of Art listening to the thunder and seeing the sideways rain, but Taylor was a magician and got the most beautiful photos.
