In 2018, Morgan and Jake met working at a physical therapy clinic in Lexington, where Morgan was completing her internship at UK and Jake was a PT tech before going to physical therapy school. We spent two years working together and quickly became friends. Jake swears he was flirting the whole time and that Morgan definitely knew he liked her. Morgan… still to this day says she had absolutely no idea. We worked together until 2020, when Covid hit. Shortly after everything shut down, Jake kept after Morgan to go out with him, One night, he invited her to Country Boy Brewing, “with some work friends.” But when Morgan showed up, she realized the “group outing” was actually Jake… and all of his friends. That night turned into the beginning of everything, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. What started as a workplace friendship—complete with missed signals, a very subtle (or not-so-subtle) flirting—turned into whole lot of love. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all, and start the rest of our lives together! THE PROPOSAL After four and 1/2 years of dating Jake proposed to Morgan with a picnic in the park in Lexington, KY. Followed by a surprise engagement party with all of their closest family and friends. It was the perfect day! They just recently bought a house and are living in London, KY counting down the days until September 19th, 2026!
