Sam and Elaina first met through a mutual friend Connor Murphy, who happens to be the best man in their wedding. Elaina saw a birthday post for Sam that Connor had posted thinking, “why has Connor never mentioned or introduced me to his handsome friend?!” She ended up getting Sam’s contact and reached out where she received a warm welcome of Sam asking how she had gotten his contact. Their first date consisted of Sam wining and dining Elaina with Qdoba and Diet Coke. By their second date Elaina asked, “why haven’t you asked me out yet?” Sam feeling scared for his life at this point asked Elaina to be his girlfriend later that day and the rest was history… Two and a half years later Sam got down on one knee and asked Elaina to marry him.
