we're getting married

Hello there, Isa here! We actual met in a very casual way. We actually met online, through Instagram. Do you know when Instagram suggests friends to add? Usually because of common friends, or because you two live in the same town... ok, well that is how I saw him for the first time. I went to his page, I found him absolutely handsome. Anyways, he had posted a story that day of him walking from the gym home, and he was making this cutest faces (fake crying) because he was tired of walking. I went ahead and took the initiative of saying hi to him through his DMs by saying "You're Cute". After that, we just hit it off. Texting and talking on the phone everyday, for long hours. A month or so later, I went to New Jersey to meet him in person (I know I know, super quick, but I just had to). Right there and then, when I met him for the first time in person, I knew he was the man for me.

Emmanuel had made a reservation at our favorite restaurant "Table 13". Table 13 has been our to go to place for special occasions because we just love the vibe there. Very classy, live jazz singer/music, amazing drinks, and very private. He went ahead and reserved one of my favorite tables (near the stage). We were having an amazing night, when all of the sudden our favorite song "Fly me to the moon by Frank Sinatra" came on (it was all planned). He invited me to take a dance with him. While we were slow dancing, he would whisper in my ear how much he loves me, how much he appreciates me and how happy he is with me. At this point, we were the only ones dancing....we are hugging...slow dancing....aaaah just feeling each other and forgetting that there was a whole crowd right in front of us, when all of sudden.... he gets in one knee, and he popped the question. I was shaking, crying, in shock. It did take me a moment to say yes, but just because everything happened so unexpectedly. But after a few seconds in shock, I said YES! He put the ring on, we hugged, everybody cheering. We sat down and multiple tables sent us free drinks and even a couple paid for our dinner to celebrate. I was the happiest girl in the world that night. It was so romantic, so right, so perfect. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Colombia!
