Our story began back in high school, thanks to a mutual friend. In May of 2017, Julian added Jasmine on snapchat, and by August, he finally worked up the courage to send her a message. Just a couple of months later, on October 2, 2017, Julian asked Jasmine to be his girlfriend — and the rest is history. From the start, Jasmine remembers Julian as funny and outgoing, while Julian thought Jasmine was beautiful and couldn't wait to get to know her. She was new to the school, and what began as curiosity quickly grew into love. They dated through junior and senior year of high school, and when it came time for college, they both chose the same university. Together, they pursued their passion for education and proudly graduated side by side in June of 2023. After college, they moved back to their hometown, ready to begin the next chapter. On October 2, 2024 — their 7 year anniversary— Julian planned the perfect proposal. Before heading out to dinner to celebrate their anniversary, he suggested they stop by at a park for a walk. Waiting there was a photographer who pretended to be passing the time while her clients were late. She asked to "practice" with a few photos of them, leading Jasmine to a dock overlooking the water. When she asked Jasmine to turn around for a shot, Jasmine turned back to find Julian on one knee, asking her to marry him. Now after years of growing up and growing together, they are so excited to celebrate their love story surrounded by family and friends — as they begin their forever as husband and wife.
