Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who will be joining us on our special day.

Gavin Whitfield

Best Man

Army, Military Police. Tony and I met in High School (11th grade Mr. Bowers class!!) and we've been BROTHERS ever since! I'm proud of you bro! You and I talked about this day since we were kids! We came a long way from running through downtown Atlanta with boxes of pizzas to the Commons!

Lynise Fleming-Jackson

Matron of Honor

I'm very excited to be Stacey's Matron of Honor. Stacey has been a loving and caring sister. I look forward to seeing Stacey and Tony embark on their new journey together.

Earl Archibald

Best Man

My name is Earl. I'm from the mighty, mighty NYC. I have a beutiful wife and two amazing kids. I met Tony as RA's where we ran Freshman Hall! I consider Tony a brother and I'm extremely honored to be apart of his and Stacey's wedding.

Gloria Lago

Maid of Honor

I met Stacey during my first day at GSU - Intro to Marketing. I scoped out the entire class because our professor mentioned a group project. I thought, "ooo I want to be friends with her - she has great style!" I think Stacey looked at me and thought, "I want to be in a group project with her - she looks smart". There isn't enough space on this wedding site to describe the adventures that Stacey and I have had in the short years we've known each other - from music festivals, partying on yachts in foreign countries, and too many bowls of noodles to count; I've never met anyone that is always ready to jump with two feet at the next outrageous suggestion I have. Just like she's always been there for my adventures, I'm excited and happy for this next adventure in Stacey's life. LOVE YOU!!!

Sam Chukwuma

Groomsman

My first encounter with Tony was one day while I was walking through Sparks Hall. I heard a deep rumbling voice call out a greeting behind me...I turned and looked at the sky and said: "Speak Lord...for your servant heareth." It was not God speaking...but it was Tony sitting at a table greeting students as they passed. A God sent messenger in the form of a brother, confidant, motivator, and Polo/fashion connoisseur. Later I would see him in my kinesiology and health classes and we naturally gravitated to each other and became fast friends. We would go on to found GSU's first exercise science organization, host one of GSU's biggest social events, became RA's, trade Polo memorabilia, create one of the illest handshakes known to man, graduate, and grow as young semi-ratchet Kings together.

Ama Larbi

Bridesmaid

From the very first time we met, Stacey and I instantly hit it off like we had known each other forever. Our friendship is full of laughs, impromptu dance parties, creative brainstorm sessions, and endless memes. She is one of the most reliable and supportive people I have ever met and I know I can always count on her to lend a helping hand or ear. Love you Stace!

Geovonnie Louissaint

Groomsman

Tony and I are great friends for more than the fact we share similar beliefs. Here's a man who leads by example, and understands that marriage is a partnership, not just a relationship status. I first met Tony as an RA for the Freshman Hall. But it wasn't until we were roommates that I truly had the opportunity to understand what kind man he actually was. Not only did he give me a different perspective on what it meant being an educated black man in Atlanta, but he also showed me how having an expanded cultural base can help you grow and interact with those around you. How many people do you know can discuss the epicness of Japanese manga, dominate in fantasy football, and breakdown the importance of J. Cole's "Middle Child" portraying our culture caught at a crossroads?

Shayla Farmer

Bridesmaid

Like most great friendships you don’t remember the technicalities behind how you became friends, you just know that from that moment on they were your go-to person. Stacey and I met one day during the summer while we were both taking classes and from then on she became one of my go-to friends. Stacey is a super loving, vibrant, kind, down for anything kind of friend! She’s my go-to person if I ever need an honest answer or opinion and she will be there for you if you need her. Seeing Stacey grow into the independent Boss Babe that she is today is both motivating and incredible to watch! Her love for Tony and their growth together has been tremendous and they compliment each other on every level. I’m so happy to be a part of her magical day and more importantly to be a part of her life!

Zerick Davis

Groomsman

I am Zerick Davis, cousin of the Groom. Born and raised in Macon, GA, and graduate of Southwest High. Me and the Groom have known each other since before we were old enough to talk. We are both the only child so we have alike similarities...twin cousins!!

Cierra Standberry

Bridesmaid

I met Stacey at Georgia State while pledging into a business fraternity. We've been inseperable ever since! Stacey's personaility is soooo vibrant and I love that so much about her!

Malik Washington

Groomsman

My name is Malik Washington. I'm just a God fearing man, trying to make this world a better place. Tony, when we first met you had on Polo attire and an unusually deep voice. I also was had on Ralph that day, which was nothing out of the ordinary. The second day you stepped clean with THE POLO BEARS ensemble, from that day forward I knew we would be friends. We went on to do community service, be the best RA's in the state of Georgia at THE Georgia State University and so much more. I'm extremely proud of you and Stacey as you partake in this Holy Union, and start a new exciting chapter in your lives.

Tashara Lyons

Bridesmaid

Stacey and I met during our pledge process of joining DPi. She instantly became my Ace! We've shared so many memories since then from having fun during our college days to celebrating big milestones in our adult years. I love my Stacey because she's so caring and supportive, loves to have a good time, and will always have your back. I'm so excited to be a part of her bridal party and I can't wait for her wedding day to get here!

ShaJuan Watts

Groomsman

My name is ShaJuan Watts and I've known Tony my entire life. Tony has been more than you can ask for in a big cousin and a friend. In 2012, our relationship reached additional significance when I began attending Georgia State University for Undergrad as he was obtaining his Master's degree. During this time of growth for me, he truly was my backbone and a source of love and support whenever I needed him. A true leader and exceptional human being, I am honored to serve in his corner for this joyous occasion.

Alricka Jackson

Bridesmaid

Stacey was the first friend I made when my family moved to Georgia - I was 6, and Stacey was 7. From our makeshift sledding during snow days as children to our daily carpools to school as teenagers, Stacey has consistently warmed my heart with her beautiful and free-spirited personality. I am so proud of the amazing woman she has become, and my heart is so full that she has found such an amazing man to compliment her.
