FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request semi-formal attire. Ladies can wear cocktail dresses, midi dresses, or dressy jumpsuits, and gentlemen can opt for a suit or dress pants with a blazer (tie optional). Please avoid jeans, sneakers, or overly casual wear, and save white or ivory for the couple. Think polished, comfortable, and ready to celebrate!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know if you’ll be joining us by December 1, 2025, so we can finalize all the details for our big day. Your timely response helps us make sure there’s a seat (and a slice of cake!) with your name on it.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive to the High Five GR by three o'clock in the afternoon at the latest. This allows for ample time for parking, walking to the venue, and being escorted to the fifth floor where you can find your seat.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered at Target and Pottery Barn. If you are interested in sending a gift, please visit the registry section of our wedding website to view them!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We kindly request that only those listed on your invitation attend. While we’d love to celebrate with everyone, our guest list is set to ensure an intimate gathering. Thank you for understanding and celebrating this special day with us.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but to allow our guests (especially parents!) to relax and enjoy the evening, our wedding will primarily be an adults-only celebration. The only exceptions will be our flower girls, ring bearers, and the children of a few out-of-state guests, who will join us for dinner at the reception. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking has been graciously provided by the parents of the bride. You will find free parking in the parking lot of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, located at 47 Jefferson Ave SE. Limited parking spaces in the parking lot of the High Five GR will be reserved for the wedding party, and guests with limited mobility.
