Our love story began in 2017, we met at work (very McRomantic I know) we instantly got along through shared sarcasm and our nerdy interests. Through a mutual friend (and secret matchmaker) we got the opportunity to get to know each other outside of work with Brandon tagging along on our nightly runs and with that mutual friend often "conveniently" disappearing/rescheduling, it didn't take too long on our nightly walks and talks before we eventually started falling for each other. Our relationship became official with Brandon asking for a first dinner date - promposal style. First by asking a complete stranger if he could write out a message with twinkle lights in their backyard that just so happened to be facing our regular running route and then by asking Destiny to be his girlfriend, and the rest was history. Brandon came into our relationship with the sweetest little boy, Elijah and Destiny came into it with the goodest girl, her dog, Poopsie. We quickly settled in together joining our little family with the goal of creating a home that was wholesome, loving, and unwavering. 4 cats and 8 years later we are still doing our best to maintain that goal everyday. Fast forward to April of 2023, we spent our anniversary at a botanical garden and library where Brandon got down on one knee and asked to make everything official. The moment was magical, it was intimate, and it will always be etched into our most cherished memories. The excitement of building a life with someone you have adored and love for so long already is indescribable. A marriage, a joining of families, a lifelong commitment, love as a whole is something that deserves to be celebrated with everyone! But it is also THE most intimate thing you can share with another human being, with that being said we have chosen to elope! Our meeting, our family, our engagement have all been somewhat unconventional and with that already cemented we've decided to forgo a traditional ceremony as well. This isn't a decision we made lightly and although it may be surprising to many people we are so grateful to have your unending support and we can't wait to share our special day! We have chosen to have a private and intimate vow exchange and hand fasting ceremony following a road trip with only the company of each other. While we embark on our journey to become man and wife we hope to carry with us all of the love and well wishes of our friends and family. ♡
