What is Bioshock?

Bioshock is a video game that takes place in the underwater city of "Rapture" in the year 1959. It has an incredible story with RPG elements. The narrative contains a lot of political commentary that is irrelevant to our wedding day but the aesthetic is what we're going for!

Do I need to "dress up" or "cosplay"?

Answer

40s and 50s formalwear is encouraged but not required. We'll be dressed up so have some fun! Please don't spend a ton of money buying an outfit. If you don't have anything that fits the time period, formal wear is the dress code.

Answer

It's pronounced "My-am-uh". This lovely little town is named after the Myaamia Nation/Miami Tribe of Oklahoma. We highly recommend checking out their museum and gift shop on Main Street.
