I started a job at the Clerk's Office in Monroe County. The second day on the job sweet, sweet Angie Bond asked me if I had a boyfriend. I answered no and she said "hm, okay". Little did I know she was texting William asking the exact same question to which he replied he was single as well. Angie showed me a picture of William and sent William a picture of me. We became friends of Facebook the next day and a week later we went on our first date to Olive Garden. And the rest is history... Angie knew me for about 2 days, but in those two days she completely changed my life for the better by introducing me to the man of my dreams. We will forever be in her debt!
William and I go kayaking any chance we get. So, September 21st didn't start out any different than usual... or so I thought. We went to Edinburg where the water is shallow enough we could easily get out of our kayaks. He took out his fishing poles and casted a few times. We walked back to where we had our kayaks docked and he gave me the longest hug. William looked at me and said "Oh, I forgot I had something for you in my kayak. But it's a surprise so you have to turn around and close your eyes." Once I got the green light to turn back around and look he was on his knee. Next thing I knew I was shaking and screaming YES!
