If you are staying in the block of rooms provided, the Palmetto Riverside Bed & Breakfast provides a water taxi that will shuttle our guests across the river and back to the hotels at the conclusion of the evening. If not staying in the block of rooms, Uber & Lyft will be able to access the venue and transport you to your desired location.
No- although we want our guests to be comfortable, masks are not required. Our ceremony and reception will be primarily outdoors, so we are hopeful that this event will be safe.
No- you are not required to get tested to attend the wedding. However, for the comfort and safety of those around you, if you are feeling sick and test positive right before the wedding, please reach out to the bride and groom so they can discuss further options with you.
No- please respect that Jack and Rachel have invested in a professional photographer who will be taking all of the necessary pictures during the ceremony.
If this applies to you, just know you will be missed. However, please email the bride and groom at jrpogan731@gmail.com so we can manage our guest list appropriately. Thank you for the consideration to let us know sooner rather than later.
There is limited parking at the venue itself so we suggest using a rideshare app or cab. The venue will be providing a water taxi back to the venue (across the water) after the reception. There is plenty of public parking by the hotels so we would suggest parking over there.
Yes! Jack and Rachel only wanted the best for their guests and arranged for a complimentary water taxi to escort guests from the hotels to the venue across the river. The shuttle will begin going back and forth starting at 3:00 PM. The ceremony starts promptly at 4:00 PM so the water taxi will cease operation before then. The ceremony ends at 10:00 PM but the water taxi will begin its services again starting at 9:00 PM until the remaining guests leave around 10:00 PM.
Clothing like evening gowns, tuxedos, jeans, and sneakers aren't appropriate for semiformal events.
Downtown Bradenton has tons of bars that are open late and within walking distance of the hotels. You are welcome to head over there after the reception if you just aren't ready to call it a night yet. The bride and groom will likely join you and, once they make up their minds, they will update the FAQ's with the bar they decide to go to.
