A note about COVID: The Brazilian room requires masks unless drinking or eating while indoors. We are doing our best to accomodate a spectrum of guests needs and will keep you updated as we follow county guidelines. We ask everyone to either be vaccinated or have a negative COVID test before the wedding. Hope's mother will be having major surgery due to cancer a few weeks after the wedding and have other immunocompromised and elderly guests. We hope this gathering will be a celebration of life and love and desire to be as inclusive yet safe as possible. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is an adventure! Thank you for your understanding. We also suggest downloading a map or directions prior to coming, there is minimal cell service near the venue and can be tricky to find in the beauty of the hills!
7:00 pm
Indoor dinner reception and wild dancing to follow our outdoor ceremony. Practice those wild dance moves: this is a proper HOOTENANNY! It will be October and weather might be unpredictable, even though we are in California. Bring a light jacket, shall, cape or fancy fur coat if you wish. Note for artists & friends: We love your creativity! Please feel free to bring your sketch books, film cameras, paints, an instrument and document the poetry of it all! If you have something specific for the wedding you'd like to bring to share, bake or create, let Hope know! Let the wild rumpus begin!
5:00 pm
DATE/PLACE TO BE DETERMINED: To our French/European friends that won't be able to make it to California amidst the pandemic: we are scheming to come celebrate with you in Paris next summer! Hope has set aside a "European Guest list" especially for you! The hope is June or July, likely an art-poetry filled celebration someplace (perhaps Le Pavé D'Orsay??) in Paris. More details to come!! On vous aimes beaucoup! Wine, good time, art, la seine, on verra!
