How We Met

We met in Ryan’s senior year and Cameron’s junior year of college. Both of us were given positions to lead Bible studies in the same building that year (that means we’d get to see each other in the lobby all the time!!). Through training weeks and developing many mutual friends, we got to know each other very well through group hangouts and even a trip to Albuquerque for the annual balloon fiesta. After months of a strong friendship, we began talking and spending more time with just the two of us. It wasn’t long until we both knew we wanted to spend forever this way. Almost a year after our first date, we got engaged and started planning for our happily ever after.

Our Faith

1 John 4:7-12 “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. (8) Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. (9) In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. (10) In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (11) Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. (12) No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.” 1 John 4:19 “We love because He first loved us.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: (10) If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. (11) Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? (12) Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant (5) or rude. It does not insist on its own way; (6) it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. (7) Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. (8) Love never ends.” ‭‭ Because of Jesus, we can say: “I have found the one whom my soul loves” Song of Solomon 3:4
