FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family dressed up for our big day! We are requesting formal attire for our wedding. Think fun, pastel, spring dresses midi to maxi length for the ladies and slacks for the gentlemen. No jeans please.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is plenty of parking available at both the chapel and the civic center, which are about 10 minutes apart. If you'd like to enjoy a drink, feel free to take an Uber to the chapel — transportation will be provided to take you to the reception afterward!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event with the exception of those children in the wedding. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 5:15 PM to ensure you are comfortably seated before the ceremony promptly begins at 5:30 PM. Once the ceremony begins, entrance will not be granted until the ceremony is completed. The reception will follow directly after at the Gainesville Civic Center.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that all guests RSVP as soon as you can, but no later than March 15th. If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will automatically be marked as "not attending". We will miss celebrating with you, but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us.
