FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than March 14, 2026 to allow us time to make some final adjustments that will allow for a seamless wedding day. Thank you! :)

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! While gifts are not required, we are so thankful for your generosity in celebrating us. We are registered through Zola which links all our registries to one convenient location-just click on the registry tab on our website.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Prelude music will begin at 1:30pm. It would be best to arrive at Immanuel Baptist no later than 1:30 to allow time to park and be seated. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request Spring Cocktail attire for our special occasion and would love to see everyone dressed up to celebrate with us. Please wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident, but we ask that you avoid white, ivory, cream, beige tones—traditionally reserved for the bride—as well as denim.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to very limited seating capacity, only guests listed on the invitation should attend.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love all of your children so much but unfortunately due to seating capacity, we are only able to accommodate the children listed on the invitation.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The parking lot for the church is very convenient to the church and easily located off Tate’s Creek Road. With the reception at the same location you may stay parked there as you won’t have to relocate. The Happily Ever After Party will be located at Nick’s parents and there is parking in the court or the streets nearby.

Question

What is the difference in the reception and the Happily Ever After Party?

Answer

Following the afternoon ceremony at the church, please join us for hors d’oeuvres, cake, and drinks. Enjoy some light music and our special dances, including the first dance, mother-son dance, and father-daughter dance. Later, at the Happily Ever After Party, we’ll keep the celebration going with a DJ, dancing, a relaxed dinner, and our signature cocktail. If you’d like to enjoy an adult beverage, we’ll have a set amount of our signature mixed cocktail available, along with a cooler and ice to keep any drinks you may want to bring chilled. Please RSVP separately for the Happily Ever After Party.
