We met on a dating app in November of 2018. Alexandra was Christian's first League date. We went to a preview of Santa's Fantastical in Atlanta. We took photos with Santa, watched the performers, colored Christmas cards, and slid down a candy cane slide. We were asked to give a video review at the end of the night, which was on their website for a year! One of Alexandra's coworkers spotted it and said how cute we looked together. Our first kiss was under the mistletoe.
9.1.19 Months before Alexandra told Christian that the one thing she cared about when getting engaged was to be surprised (by the ring and moment). Over the next few months, Christian snuck away with some admittedly poor excuses to design the ring, and he kept throwing her off with comments, including asking for her ring size on the day he proposed. On that day, Christian had the ring in his breast pocket the whole day waiting for the perfect moment. He faked a soccer injury to protect his chest from Alexandra. Again, admittedly poor excuse, but luckily Alexandra is gullible. At sunset, before their dinner reservation at Ecco, we were dancing around the kitchen to Brad Paisley's "And I thought I loved then" ... Christian: We have 10 minutes. Alexandra: What should we do? Christian: I don't know, (got down on one knee) marry me? Alexandra: (shocked!, tearing up, speechless) Alexandra (1-10 minutes later, depending who you ask): Absolutely! Christian got her good!
