Originally we were going to plan a big wedding, but as we kept planning, we talked about how we would rather save the money that would be spent on a big wedding and put it towards building a stable future…but we both love our families & want to celebrate with y’all, so that’s why we’re doing this backyard style afterwards!
The after party is absolutely not a formal event haha! This is not really much more than a family cookout & that’s how we want it! Feel free to dress casual & maybe even bring a dish.. jk ;) for the guests invited to the private ceremony prior to the after party we ask no vibrant colors, we would like mostly muted tones & neutral colors!
As much as we would love to see everyone there, we are keeping the ceremony private & very minimal. To insure privacy we are keeping the ceremony date to ourselves & we ask those who are aware of the date & to be respectful of our wishes. We appreciate the understanding & this was a tough decision to make. This is not to offend anyone!
Please RSVP by September 13th, 2025. The RVSP window will close that evening.
For those few invited to the private ceremony: please arrive by 2:45 at the latest, as the ceremony is starting at 3:00 PM exactly. For the after party: please arrive at 3:00 PM
due to us doing this backyard style, there is not going to be a bar service or open bar. while we are preparing food & nonalcoholic beverages, this event will be bring your own beer.
for the private ceremony; parking is very limited, please carpool if you can! for the after party; Street parking. Parking is very limited, so again please carpool if you can or even consider walking if within a reasonable distance to save places to park for those who are driving!
Please reach out to the bride and groom to make accommodations! There will be red meat, dairy, gluten, and not peanut free food, so please keep that in mind and reach out if need be!
