Back in early 2021, Ryan would reach out to Angie for help since she worked at their college town Rite Aid. In February, the two met up at a local gas station where she gave him some unused insulin a family member no longer needed. It was a small, kind gesture, and neither of them could have known it would mark the beginning of something much bigger. Nearly a year later, on January 22, 2022, fate stepped in again. Despite having a very long night out the day prior, Angie dragged her friend Jenny to the beer distributor..because, if you know Angie, it was in true Angie fashion: NOTHING cures a hangover better than a Modelo Michelada. And there was Ryan, working behind the register. She set her drink on the counter, and Ryan said, “It’s on me. I still owe you for that insulin.” Before Angie even made it back to her car, a message from Ryan popped up on her phone. The upcoming days were filled with countless messages back and forth. A week later, they finally made plans to hangout and ended up talking until 4 a.m., about every topic you could imagine. They laughed until their faces hurt, realizing how naturally they clicked. One of their first “oh my gosh” moments came when they discovered they both shared the same favorite song: “When You Were Young” by The Killers. It felt like the universe was winking at them. It was a perfect, poetic coincidence that made their connection feel meant to be. From that night on, everything just felt easy. And the rest, as they say, is history. Our story continues to grow. In July 2024, we bought our first home together. Now it's filled with love, laughter and the occasional chaos brought on by our three adorable gray cats- Loki, Storm, & Tapatio who very much believe they are the true owners of the house. And honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way. 🩶 Everything about our story is perfect… except that I now own multiple pieces of New England Patriots merch. (Sorry dad) Love really does make you do crazy things!
