Maid of Honor
Sisters share a bond like no other—one that grows, evolves, and withstands the test of time. My sister, Mercedes, and I have had our fair share of ups and downs, just like any siblings, but no matter what, we have always been family. From childhood adventures and family traditions to life’s biggest moments, she has been an irreplaceable part of my journey. As my maid of honor, having Mercedes by my side on this special day means everything to me. Through all the laughter, love, and memories we’ve shared, she has been more than just my sister—she’s been my confidant, my built-in best friend, and my forever supporter. I am so grateful to have her standing beside me as I step into this exciting new chapter.
Best Man
Matt and Nick’s bond goes way back—so far back that they shared a womb! From day one, they’ve been more than just brothers—they’ve been best friends. Despite Matt technically being five minutes older, Nick often gets mistaken for the “older brother” (probably because of that epic beard). Through childhood, challenges, and everything in between, they’ve always held each other accountable, supported one another, and pushed each other to be better. Nick’s the guy Matt could always turn to for advice, laughs, and unconditional support. He’s the true definition of a best man—loyal, loving, and always there to remind Matt he’s got his back, no matter what.
Father of the Bride
From the very start, my dad and I have shared an unshakable bond—one built on love, laughter, and a lifetime of cherished moments. He has been my biggest supporter, my role model, and my first dance partner. Whether it was guiding me through life’s challenges, cheering me on through every milestone, or making me laugh when I needed it most, he has always been there with unwavering love and strength. Our connection is one of a kind—rooted in endless inside jokes, heartfelt conversations, and a deep understanding that no words are needed to express how much we mean to each other. Walking down the aisle with him by my side will be one of the most meaningful moments of the day, a reminder of every hug, every lesson, and every moment of love we’ve shared. So get ready for a few happy tears, because this walk will be one we’ll cherish forever.
Father of the Groom
Growing up, I was the only one who called my dad “Papà,” a tradition he brought with him from Italy when he moved to the States in his 20s. He wasn’t like other dads I knew—rough around the edges, intense, and always full of passion. As a kid, I didn’t fully understand it, but as I grew older, I came to realize that his fire came from one thing: his deep, unwavering love for our family. Papà worked tirelessly, starting his days at 5 a.m. and never missing a day, teaching me the true meaning of perseverance through his actions. He shared his wisdom from life’s experiences and taught me to trust my instincts. His love, dedication, and work ethic shaped me into who I am today. Papà is the standard I look to for what it means to be a man, a father, and a provider. I am forever grateful for his example and everything he’s taught me.
Mother of the Bride
A mother, a mentor, and a lifelong best friend—my mom has been there for every step of my journey, big and small. Our bond is built on unconditional love, endless laughter, and a deep understanding that only a mother and daughter can truly share. From comforting me during childhood heartaches to guiding me through life’s most significant moments, she’s always known exactly how to offer her support and wisdom. She’s been my foundation, my trusted advisor, and my biggest supporter, whether I needed someone to talk to, a word of encouragement, or just a comforting presence. Now, as she helps me plan this incredible day, I’m filled with gratitude for everything she’s done and continues to do for me. As I step into this new chapter with Matt, I know her heart will be filled with love, pride, and joy. She’s given me the strength and confidence to embrace every new chapter in my life, and I’ll carry that with me forever. There’s no greater gift than the love of a mother, and I’m so blessed to have hers.
Mother of the Groom
Where do I even begin? Growing up, I always called you “Mommy,” and later “Ma,” because “Mom” just didn’t seem to fit your warmth and ease. You weren’t just a mother—you were a best friend. You always listened to my wild ideas and dreams, no matter how out there they were, and encouraged me to think outside the box. You taught me how to dream and to embrace my imagination. I was always in awe of your artistic talent. You could play multiple instruments, draw, paint, sing, and create anything with your hands—and not just create, but do it so beautifully. You were a true artist, and I loved bragging to everyone about how talented you were. You had a light about you that everyone noticed. Your creativity, and your spirit were undeniable, and I always felt proud to be your child. You kept your door open for me through every stage of life, never shutting me out, always validating my thoughts and feelings. You were there for me through it all, with a heart full of love and understanding. Although you’re no longer physically with us to celebrate this moment, I know you’re with me in spirit, guiding me, and I carry your love, your strength, and your creativity in my heart every day. Your presence will forever be felt in everything I do.
Grandma of the Bride
My grandma isn’t just the sweetest soul—she’s also the funniest, most loving, and effortlessly cool woman I know. She has been there through it all, watching Matt and me grow from the early days of our relationship to this incredible moment where we say “I do.” Her laughter, warmth, and perfectly timed words of wisdom have been a constant in my life, and I wouldn’t be who I am without her. She’s seen us dance, laugh, and love our way through the years, and having her here on our wedding day is such a gift. I couldn’t be more grateful to celebrate this moment with her by my side.
