When Logan and Alexis first started dating, Logan mentioned that the place she wanted to visit most in the world was Prague. Fast forward to Christmas 2022: Alexis surprised her with tickets for a 2.5 week European adventure in 2023 with stops in Amsterdam, Vienna, Berlin, and of course, Prague. The trip was planned for the magical Christmas market season, filled with lights, music, and winter festivities. What Logan didn’t know was that Alexis had been secretly designing her ring for months and had been scheming all fall to pull off the perfect surprise. In classic Alexis fashion, she went all in: researching photographers in Prague, scouting locations, and even wearing makeup every day for weeks so Logan wouldn’t get suspicious when she did the same on the trip. Throughout their relationship, the two had shared scrapbooks documenting their adventures together. Before the trip, Alexis created new pages - ones that would soon change everything. Prior to leaving, Alexis researched locations, photographers, and carefully mapped out the proposal. She was determined for everything to go smoothly and, most importantly, discreetly. On their first morning in Prague, they woke up early for what Logan believed was a walking tour. As the morning fog rolled across the historic Charles Bridge, the world felt still - just the two of them and the sound of the river below, where Alexis pulled out their scrapbook. As Alexis handed her the scrapbook, Logan started to read the newest pages. Before Logan could finish, Alexis was already tearing up (and yes, forgetting parts of her perfectly rehearsed speech) and started kneeling. As Logan turned the pages, the final one revealed Alexis’ proposal - and the rest was history. A photographer captured the moment, turning the morning into a romantic photo tour across the city. Each stop along their European journey became its own little celebration as Alexis found a special moment in every city to ask Logan to marry her all over again. What started as a dream trip to Prague became the beginning of forever.

How did you first meet? Our first date was at Shangri-La in Austin! What was your most memorable date? This is a hard one for us. From exploring the world, finding new food/drink spots, to staying cozy in at home playing a co-op game. Any night we can spend together is memorable for us. Who's going to take out the trash? Whoever needs more points on the chore chart ;) ...but it's usually Logan What's your favorite activity together? Picking one of our outlandish or silly date ideas from our date list (e.g. goth date, hanging with goats, playing pool) Where are you going for your honeymoon? Anywhere with beautiful beaches, booze, and bodacious bodies What's the best meal you have eaten together? Definitely something from a hole-in-the wall in Japan What's the most memorable trip you have taken together? When we lived in PR for ~1 month - it was our first big, long trip together! We learned to salsa, beach every day, and ate so many plantains. A life goal of ours: Be rich, be hot, be adventurous, be moms - Logan We are regulars at... Red Rooster hehe Who said “I love you” first? Alexis did on accident (whoopsies, getting married now!) What’s our shared ick? When people chew with their mouth open (ew pls no) Planner or go-with-the-flow? Alexis is the type A planner with spreadsheets ready to go whereas Logan can reap the benefits of all of her hard work. But Logan is great with spontaneous plans that Alexis can, at first stress about, but then be pleasantly surprised by. Do you have any traditions? The day after we become official, we left for a Big Bend camping trip. Since then we take an outdoorsy trip every anniversary to reconnect with each other and the world around us as a reminder of how it all began. What’s one thing we’re most excited about for married life? Tax cuts & we can finally call each other "wives"
