Megan thought she was going to dinner with her girlfriends (spoiler alert: she was not), and Brett took their dog, Sue, to his brother's. As Megan's friend drove to "dinner" she noticed they were going the wrong way but didn't think much of it. The car pulled up to South Lake Park, where Brett and Megan had taken many, many walks with Sue. It all started to click, and Brett (and Sue) popped the question in front of their families and Megan's closest friends.
