Yes, since Cabo is in Mexico, a valid passport is required for international travel. Please plan ahead to make sure your passport arrives on time!
October in Cabo is warm, with average temperatures around 80°F. Expect sunny skies, and with Zadún’s seaside location, you’ll enjoy cool ocean breezes in the evenings.
Absolutely, we would love that! Zadún offers luxurious accommodations. If you’d like to stay at the venue, please use our link to book your stay which can be found on the Travel & Stay tab.
No. While we encourage you to stay at our venue, you are able to stay wherever you would like.
No.
Our ceremony will be held outdoors at one of Zadún’s beautiful venues, The Grand Reserve, with stunning ocean views. It will have a beachfront feel without being directly on the sand. There will be access to shaded, indoor areas and bathrooms. Our ceremony will be on grass, so ladies—pick your shoes wisely!
We’re encouraging guests to wear white attire to help set the tone for a fun and festive start to the weekend! While it’s not required, we’d love to see everyone in white as we celebrate under the Cabo sky. Kind reminder: This is the only event during the wedding weekend where guests are encouraged to wear white—please save the color for this special night only!
We’ve requested elevated cocktail attire in neutral colors and earth tones for our wedding day. Please avoid bright colors and bold patterns, and kindly refrain from wearing white. Gentlemen- Think sand, stone, taupe, or light blues and greens. Classic suits in black, navy, tan, or gray are also totally appropriate. Ladies- For colors, we encourage soft, natural hues like beige, taupe, champagne, light pinks, soft yellows, muted greens, or lighter shades of brown and blue. The ceremony and reception will take place in a beautiful backyard setting with grass underfoot, so we recommend choosing block heels, wedges, or dressy flats for comfort and ease. Please no flip flops.
To help us with planning, please RSVP as soon as possible! Please ensure you submit your RSVP before the end of August 2025.
Language: The primary language is Spanish, but English is widely spoken in tourist areas and at hotels and resorts. Currency: The currency is the Mexican Peso (MXN), but US dollars are commonly accepted in most places. It's a good idea to carry some local currency for small purchases. Transportation: Taxis and rideshare services like Uber are available. Many resorts offer shuttle services to popular destinations. Renting a car is also an option if you plan to explore. Time Zone: Cabo is in the Pacific Time Zone (PT), which is two hours behind Central Time (CT) and three hours behind Eastern Time (ET). Health: Drink bottled water to avoid stomach issues.
We will have organized events surrounding our wedding day where food and drinks will be provided, and we’ll share the details for each in the near future. Outside of these hosted events, guests will be responsible for their own meals, beverages, and accommodations. Please note that our wedding venue, Zadún, is not all-inclusive, but it offers great dining options and is close to other spots in Cabo! Let us know if you’d like recommendations—we’re happy to help!
Yes! Please make sure to let us know if you have a food allergy or any food restrictions and make sure to note this on your RSVP as well.
Cabo is considered a safe destination for tourists, especially in resort areas like San José del Cabo, where our wedding will take place. Zadún is a private, secure property with excellent safety measures in place. As with any travel destination, it’s always smart to stay aware of your surroundings, follow local guidelines, and use common sense, especially when exploring outside the resort.
