Attire is black tie optional, meaning: For men: If you own a tuxedo, please wear it! Otherwise, please wear a dark colored suit. For women: Midi to floor length dresses are acceptable. NOTE: The venue has lots of grass and gravel, so block heels are recommended!
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, and the reception will be indoors.
We will serve some light bites at the welcome party, so we recommend arranging dinner plans for afterwards!
Both event venues are located on King Street, where there is very limited street parking and some nearby paid lots. We recommend choosing a hotel that is within walking distance to these locations or taking an Uber/Lyft to the events.
There is parking available at Middleton Place, however we recommend taking the provided transportation if possible. We will have transportation pick up from the Hyatt Place Charleston/Historic District (560 King Street) at 4:30PM for the ceremony and will drop everyone back off at the same spot after the reception. If you do wish to drive to the wedding instead of take the buses, please keep in mind that the venue is a 30 minute drive from downtown Charleston without traffic. Please note that you will likely not be able to call an Uber from the wedding venue!
While we love your children, the weekend's events will be for adults only!
Trolleys will pick up guests at the Hyatt Place Charleston/Historic District (560 King Street) at 4:30PM on Saturday! Please arrive before 4:30 to ensure you don't miss the trolley.
