In early October 2018, while Mackenzie was completing the final weeks of her temporary healthcare job in Rocky Hill, Zachary walked in for his big first day. She didn't think anything of it at first when she saw the new "quiet guy," but little did she know she was working beside her soon-to-be best friend, future husband, and father of her child. They began dating, then spent a short time apart, but got back together on March 13th, 2020, the official start of the lockdown. Maneuvering their new/old relationship during a worldwide pandemic had its curve balls, but it also strengthened their bond, relationship, respect, and love for one another. In 2021, they moved to Middletown and adopted two kittens, Ralph and Django. In 2022, they took MANY trips together to Disneyworld, Montana, Cape Cod, and Disneyworld...again! And on Friday, January 27, 2023, they discovered the most amazing news that would change their lives forever - They were going to be parents!!! Through all the excitement and nerves they stuck together. They knew they would be married one day and spend their lives together so they thought...what the heck...lets just do it! So, on April 23, 2023, Mackenzie and Zach got married over delicious rolls and cinnamon butter at Texas Roadhouse (yes you read that right) by their sweet friend Amber. It was the easiest and quickest decision they ever made. On September 1, 2023, they welcomed their beautiful boy, Maxwell David, and have been living their dream life since! Now that the beautiful and crazy phase of new parenthood has settled, it is time to celebrate their journey, their new little family, and their love! So, let's party!!!!
