The Springs
A beautiful natural hot springs. Visits are by reservation only. It is $30 an hour for a 2.5 hour soak session. You are able to upgrade to a private tub which is ages 18+ for $65 per person.
Charcoal Gulch Hike- Trail Number 263
A few minutes from downtown. The hike is roughly 4 miles roundtrip and is mostly uphill
Trudy's Kitchen
Considered a local landmark since 1997. It is known for its made from scratch comfort food and famous huckleberry cheesecake.
Sarsaparilla Ice Cream Parlor and Gift
Local ice cream spot, known for its old-west charm and treats. In 2015 an arson fire destroyed its original location but the city vowed to rebuild and reopened with community support and resilience.
Grimes Creek
Known for its scenic creek, forested hills, and rich gold-rush history. It’s a great spot for fishing and hiking. Grimes Creek is about 10 miles south of Idaho City.
