After having postponed our vacation to Florida due to the pandemic and being quarantined for multiple months, we decided to go on a weekend getaway to Lake George. On our second to last night there, we were on a dock looking out over the lake and mountains as the sun was setting. It was just the two of us for a while until another couple walked onto the dock. Steve asked them if they could take a photo of us. When I looked over to put my arm around him, Steve was down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was in shock and gasped “are you serious?! yes!”. We cannot wait to celebrate our union with you on the anniversary of our engagement!
