The adventure continues

It all started in Spencerport in 1965...just kidding, although it kind of did. Our fathers were good friends growing up. Rob and I both knew each other as young kids from their legendary soccer parties. In 2009, both Rob and I moved out to Colorado around the same time. When my dad had told me Rob had also moved to Colorado, I didn't think too much about it. But on an epic Spring skiing day, I decided to reach out to see if he wanted to hit the slopes. Rob took me on some of the most challenging terrain Breck has to offer, by which I tomahawked down most of it. But I handled it like a champ - no matter what he says! After several Breck bombs and a beer fest later, we became good friends.

Shortly after re-meeting in Colorado, Rob moved away to pursue his career in the US Army. We remained close friends, but that was the extent of it. In 2012, Rob deployed to Afghanistan. We started emailing pretty frequently while he was overseas. It wasn't long from when he came back to the states that we made this thing official. One of his first stops on leave was a trip to Colorado - Elk hunting with me and Dave near Steamboat, CO. By the time he returned to NC, we found ourselves in a long-distance relationship for almost a year.

We spent the next 3.5 years in Colorado, where we bought a home, added a furbaby, and grew our love. In 2017, we decided it was time to come home. We picked up our life in Colorado, and moved to Massachusetts. Over the next year and a half, we started new jobs, spent as much time with family as possible, built our dream house, got engaged, and now here we are! Celebrating our love with the most special people in our lives. We look forward to the living out the rest of this adventure with all of you.
