Eric and Tresha’s love story began in San Diego over craft beers at Ballast Point Brewery. Having met at work, the two got to know each other for the first time at a coworker’s going away party and bonded over the great outdoors. That evening, Tresha shared she had never been to Joshua Tree National Park before, while Eric spent recent years there rockclimbing. Excited to explore the park together, they were en route the very next day with their mutual friend Mehdi along for the ride. Three months into their new relationship, Tresha had the opportunity to accept a job in Los Angeles which she could not refuse. Eric knew they had something special he couldn’t give up, so he took a leap of faith and moved to Los Angeles too. The couple has spent the last four and a half years together discovering the city with their late dog Cody, and experiencing the many wonders of the world—from camping in Big Sur to visiting Japan during sakura season, where Eric proposed to Tresha under cherry blossom trees on April 12, 2019.
Exactly one month short of their five year anniversary, Eric and Tresha will exchange vows at the place it all started for them—Joshua Tree National Park. To bear witness and officiate their wedding will be their best friend Mehdi who has been there for them since day one.
While Eric and Tresha would love to have their friends and family with them on the day they say “I do”, they have decided to keep their ceremony intimate and small for the health and safety of themselves and others. They will have their loved ones with them in their hearts and minds on their special day.
