No. We are not requesting that anyone is vaxx'd. However we strongly recommend that you please consider one another by providing a negative PCR or Rapid/At-home test result. For PCR tests: The earliest you should test is July 13th, in order for results to be valid. The latest, July 14th in order to receive your results on time. For Rapid/At-Home Testing: If, for any critical reason you could not get a PCR test, you can do a Rapid/At-Home test. Since the at home tests have a quick turnaround on results, please take it as close as possible to the time you’re attending the wedding and bring or email proof of your results. Basically, take ALL at home tests day of. To expedite entry, please email a copy of your results to: DawsonDownTheAisle.2022@gmail.com If we do not receive an email from you, the ushers will ask you to show proof of your results at the door. If you show up WITHOUT proof of negative test results, you will not be granted entry. Overall, proof of a negative test result will grant everyone entry. We will not provide/accept any tests on site, so we're are asking that you please be sure to make this apart of your personal checklist as you prepare to join us on our special day! NOTE: If you’ve had a known COVID-19 exposure, no test is going to make it safe for you to gather, unmasked with (high-risk/immuno-compromised) individuals. In that case, please stay home and opt to view the ceremony virtually via Zoom instead. We love you all and do not want to compromise anyone's health, considering C-19 is still among us. We all know that a negative test doesn’t guarantee safety or completely prevent exposure. However, negative test results will at least give everyone a little peace of mind as we celebrate our day together! Please see our 'Things To Do' page for more information on testing locations in the Chicagoland area. Thank you, Theo and Summer
Great Question! We will have a Cocktail-Style reception; heavy hors o'doeuvres and beverages served. The menu has changed as well but we will consider all dietary restrictions.
Upon arrival there will be a sanitation station for your convenience. Sanitizer and masks will be provided. Although, the mask mandate has lifted, we encourage mask-wearing indoor unless, speaking/speeches, eating or snapping a photo! Thank you, Theo & Summer
As much as we both LOVE the kiddos, we ask that you make solid sitter arrangements because unfortunately they will not be able to attend. Only children of the bride/groom’s family, children who have a role in the wedding, or breastfeeding infants are allowed. There will also be a place for stroller parking if you need to bring one in as well. Thank you so much for understanding our heart.
During the Ceremony: No, thank you! This part of our day will be unplugged and here's a few important reasons why. We want our family to be present with us as we enjoy this intimate and special moment. It also helps our photographers to get clean and unobstructed shots. We do not want to glance into the audience or look back at our most memorable moments captured to see you holding your phone up the entire time. So please, no phones to take pictures, record, or live stream, unless the Bride, Groom or Wedding Coordinator has instructed you to do so prior to the event. After the procession: YES! Please feel free to snap as many selfies, candid's and fun shots as you want! Please be sure to use our wedding hashtag so we can keep up with all the incredible moments you caught: #DawsonDownTheAisle or #DawsonJr2022
